Kohl:

I nodded and shifted from foot to foot awkwardly. "Well, she wanted to um..." I trailed off and looked towards the door right as a lady stepped inside. Her eyes roamed over the room, with an unreadable expression before it settled on Danny.

Danny:

I turned to look where his gaze was and blinked in surprise.

Felicia:

I suddenly sat up straighter feeling the gaze of someone like a disapproving teacher fall on me for a second. The woman moved to the table and snapped at it, "Kohl, breakfast no dilly-dallying now." Her voice was stern and gave no room for argument. Kohl just stood there though and I could feel a cold anger rise from her chilling the entire room before she let it out in an explosive sigh. "Oh right, well then." She settled gracefully in a chair and arranged her skirts and body much like a queen might on a throne.

Danny:

I stared at the woman. “Excuse me ma’am, What are you doing in my house? May I be of service in some way?” I asked politely, but there was no warmth in my voice.

Kohl:

I winced at Danny's tone. But I looked on in surprise as the lady laughed and clapped in delight. "Oh you do have a fire in you after all. I'm glad, I'm glad. I had Kohl here bring me as I wanted to meet whomever was the new master for him. Yes, you'll do."

Danny:

I stood still next to Kohl. “I’m so pleased you approve.” I said without a smile, still polite, still guarded.

Kohl:

I glanced at Danny then shifted uncomfortably. "Danny..." I whispered. "Be nice...she is Morgan Le Fey..." I turned my gaze to the lady still sitting in her chair as if there was nothing going on at all.

Danny:

I sighed softly, I had guessed as much. “Kohl,” I said softly, but loud enough that she could hear. “Would you please tell the cook to make breakfast for you and the lady, and then come join us?” I moved over to sit across from his mistress.

I nodded and gave a small bow. I left then, feeling embarrassed by my relief about leaving.

Felicia:

I eyes the woman and asked softly, "Are you really Morgan Le Fey? Did you meet Arthur? Did you...you know...kill him?" The lady turned her gaze to me and a shrunk back.

"I really am little one, I did I enjoyed the many years I came to knew him. It was my last wish to end his life but some times things must be done." Her voice was soft and gentle, like one would speak to a child.

Danny:

“I was under the impression that you were sick, my lady. Is this really the best place for you at the moment?” I asked her.

Felicia:

I listened to the lady speak, not even doing much more than purring when she reached over and began petting my head. "I am to a degree. I haven't a speck of magic left in me anymore. I am dying, slowly. But I have enough energy in me to make a trip like this. I wanted to see the man whom Kohl talked about so animatedly, and I am not disappointed so far."

Danny:

I leaned forward a little. “Did he?” I asked in pleasant surprise, abandoning my cool manner for a moment.

Kohl:

I came back with a plate of food for my old mistress right as I heard her say, "He did indeed. It was adorable, he has taken quite a liking to you. Though he might not recognize it himself. I am very much curious what you have done to make him so. I'm fond of Kohl, he served me well and is the closest thing I have ever had to a son. That is why my last wish was sending him to find you."

Danny:

“But… Do you no longer need his assistance? You aren’t well after all…” I said slowly.

Morgan:

I laughed and arched an eyebrow. "Unwell? Who told you a silly thing like that? I am dying but I will still be alive for many, many, many years to come. I am simply powerless now, all gone." She wiggled her fingers to accent her point. "For a spellcaster like myself, that is death. But I still plan on living, I have too many irons in the fire so to speak. You now being one of them."

Danny:

“I’m sorry.” I don’t understand.” I said in confusion. My gaze flickered to Kohl and lingered on him before returning to his mistress.

I sighed and tilted my head back, "Simply put, I exhausted all of my magic. Did you think you would have it forever? No. It is like a battery, the more you do it the more your battery is drained...though...in your case you have a really nice place to always replenish your battery so you might never have noticed or felt tired." I was now rubbing and scratching Felicia's back who was laying partly across my lap. I tapped a finger on her back and gave him a significant look before going back to scratching it. "I wouldn't dream of using her like that, as it is rude to do that to a fellow magic user. But eventually if you spend enough time away from the young miss you will be like me and be empty. You will still live out the remainder of your life, in what ever state you left yourself in. I have a lot of things and stuff and it will take me many years to give it all away. I started with the important stuff, like Kohl."

Danny:

I still didn’t quite understand what all she meant but I nodded. “We need to be getting to school.” I said.

Morgan:

I nodded and turned to my meal, "I shall finish my meal then go back home if you don't mind then." I didn't wait for a response as I snapped my fingers in the girls ear and she sat up straight quickly.

Danny:

I turned my gaze to Kohl. “What are you going to do?” I asked gently.

Kohl:

"Await for when I am needed." I told him quietly my hands clasped behind my back.

Danny:

“Okay…” I stood up from my chair. “Well make yourself at home. Feel free to do whatever you like.” I told him.

I nodded, "Yes sir. Be safe okay?" My cheeks grew a bit warm at what I had just said, but I gave him a bow and left the room to go take care of things in the kitchen. I didn't hear Morgan laugh quietly, "Oh he does like you doesn't he."

Danny:

“Color creped up my neck and cheeks. “Felicia, get your things, we’re going to be late.” Was all I said.

Felicia:

I nodded and dashed off, grabbing my backpack and then coming back to Danny.
