School of Thought

Danny:

I blinked in surprise, forgetting for a moment that I had to get ready for school. “Why would you think I kissed him?” I asked her, lifting her chin up.

Felicia:

"Cause he is cute...and seems cuddly...and is gay." I blinked at him and yawned loudly before stretching cat like.

Danny:

“I’ve only just met him, you silly girl.” I pulled her tail lightly and rolled her over so I could get out of bed.

I gave a protest at him pulling my tail then rolling me over. "But does that mean you don't like him like that?"

Danny:

I turned away from her and went to my closet. My cheeks felt hot, but she wouldn’t be able to see. “Just because I like men, does not mean I like every man I meet Kitty, it’s more complicated than that.” I explained.

Felicia:

"But...that wasn't what I asked." I said blinking in confusion. I flopped onto my side and gave another lazy stretch, watching him through half closed eyes.

Danny:

I came out of the closet. “Have you decided to come to school or not?” I asked, choosing to ignore her question.

I paused and hid my face partially in the bed as I considered that. Did I want to go to school? And a person flashed through my mind. Nathaniel would be there. I turned to look at him and nodded a bit. "Yeah. Nathaniel will be there."

Danny:

“I smiled. “You got along well with him then?” I asked happily.

I nodded. "Mmhmm, I like him. He smells good and he has a good heart beat." I smiled happily and flopped backwards before springing up again onto my hands and knees to glare at my brother. "But you can't take him!"

Danny:

I rolled my eyes. “I think he’s a bit too young for me, Kitty.” I told her

I kept my eyes narrowed. "He's mine. so promise you wont take him."

Danny:

I raised my eye brows at her. “Why so defensive Kitty? “

"Promise!" I said still glaring at him. I paused once I realized I had yelled, and I looked down shyly. "I dunno...I just really liked being next to him....I think...I think I could sleep without headphones if I listened to his heart..." I squirmed a bit. "I'm going to shower." I announced as I fled the room. What I had said was high praise from me, as not even by listening to Danny's heartbeat had I been able to sleep through the night without a nightmare.

Danny:

I sat on my bed and rubbed my face with my hands. “Oh boy…” I said to myself. I hadn’t thought about what would happen when my sister found a boy she actually liked, I was just hoping she would make friends.

Felicia:

I stripped out of the footie pajamas and stepped into the shower, huddling under the hot water. I wasn't entirely sure why I had fled out of the room. I had just gotten all shy and confused and embarrassed. I wasn't even sure why I had been so insistent that Danny promise not to steal him. I mulled it over in my head as I started washing my body with soap and a soft luffa.

Danny:

I got fully ready then went to Felicia’s closet to pull out some clothes for her. I picked a simple dress that would be just above her knees. Pretty but modest.

I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body before walking towards where I guessed Danny was.

Danny:

“I set clothes out for you.” I told her as I saw her coming up.

I nodded and went over to the clothes, dropping the towel at my feet as I started to pull on the clothes he had set out for me.

Danny:

I went down to have breakfast made for us. Eggs and toast. I waited at the dinning table reading over some papers.

Felicia:

I came down, sitting at my chair beside him. I kicked my feet absently as I asked softly, "Do you really think that Nathaniel will be at school?" I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear watching the door to the kitchen. I brightened then when I saw who was bringing our meal. "Kohl!"

Danny:

I blinked and stood up quickly. I went to him and took the dishes. “You don’t have to do that.” I said.

Kohl:

"You asked for these dishes, I made them." I told him giving him a half bow. I was in the same getup from before, cloth pants and bare foot. With bangles on my arms but a bare chest.

Danny:

“I didn't mean for you to do it. Weren’t you with your mistress?” I asked.
