I blinked and looked at the ring, no one had ever made it a ring before. "No one has done something that personal before." I remarked quietly, my eyes still on the ring.

Danny:

I blushed faintly. “Should I not have?” I asked uncertainly.

I held my hands up and shook my head rapidly. "N-no, it is not m-my place to tell you what to do. It was just a....surprise..." Color rose to my cheeks as I stammered.

Danny:

I reached up and took his hand in both of mine. “Listen, if you’re going to be my servant, then you’re going to have to act as my equal. I won’t have you treating me like I’m above you in any way.” I said sincerely.

I blushed faintly at him holding my hand like that. "I...I'm not used t-to this...I-I'll try..." I said, my eyes wide.

Danny:

I squeezed his hand gently. “And that is a request, not a wish.” I added with a kind smile.

Kohl:

"I think you enjoy m-making this hard-der on me..." I mumbled but I gave him a shy smile back.

Danny:

I blinked. “Why would this be any harder?” I asked in genuine puzzlement.

Kohl:

"I am a dijinn...I am to serve my master or mistress." I said plainly, looking at the ground. "It's what I know how to do."

Danny:

“Didn’t you ever want to do something for yourself?” I asked, looking up into his face.

Kohl:

"I want to be free, to no longer be stuck like this. I want to be normal...but I can't be. My magic prevents me, and the longer I go without granting a wish the stronger the powers become. If you don't make wishes sir...then eventually if you just ask for something from anyone when I'm around. It will be done." I spoke softly but in a matter of fact tone. "You wouldn't be the first to treat me like an equal. But it didn't end well for the last to do so...so please, treat me as an equal but do make wishes too..."

Danny:

I was frowning at what he was saying. “What happened to the last one?” I asked.

Kohl:

Tears filled my eyes and spilled out over my cheeks as I whispered softly. "He joked with a friend...they were told they had to go to a formal ball...he said to his friend....Would you kill me now? I don't want to go..." I closed my eyes and hung my head. "Because he hadn't wished for anything...refused to do it...my powers boiled over and I granted the question...."

Danny:

“Oh…” I looked at the floor feeling horrible I even asked. “I’m very sorry.” I said quietly.

Kohl:

"It was harder after the fact when I realized I had fallen for him..." I shrugged my shoulders and looked up at him. "Treat me like an equal, but you still must make requests."

Danny:

“I will…” I said ruefully. “Do you have to return to your mistress?” I asked looking at him once again.

Kohl:

I shifted awkwardly. "Morgan is no longer my mistress...your my master now. That is how it works. Once I am contracted with someone else, the other one can't command me...I am worried about her, she was bed bound the last I saw her. But I can't just leave."

Danny:

“Why can’t you go to her? Are you not allowed?” I asked with a frown. Surely there were no rules against it.

Kohl:

I gave him a tired look. "Daniel...your my master. I can't do anything without permission. Do you understand?"

Danny:

“Oh.” I said as I stood to my feet. “Well then I give you permission to go to her, for as long as she needs you.”

I gave him a deep bow then a quick hug right before I snapped my fingers and was gone.

Danny:

I stared at the empty cup on the table for a few minutes, dazed. What a night. After a little while I made my way back to bed. It was five in the morning when I crawled under the sheets and fell asleep.

Kat:

I had gone back to bed, unthinkingly I had just gone back to Danny's room and once he crawled under the covers I snuggled up against him, my headphones on and playing music for me to sleep too.

Danny:

I awoke, bleary-eyed when my alarm went off in the morning. “Unghuuhh.” I mumbled, throwing an arm over my eyes to shield them from the sunlight coming through the window above my bed. “Kitty… What are you doing in my bed?” I asked, feeling my sisters warm body next to me.

Felicia:

"Comfy...close....I wanted to know if you kissed him...." I mumbled into him. I could hear his alarm going off and I raised my head to glare at it. "Can we get rid of those...." I whined before dropping my head and hiding my face in his chest again.
