Jemma:

I was up and out of my chair and after him in a second. I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. “Why wont you tell me?” I demanded.

I pulled my arm out of her grasp. "They are that way. Look for a treehouse. Perhaps they have the right idea on going..." I said the last sentence just kind of muttered. I was hurt, but for all the kissing and couple stuff we had done, it felt like we had just kind of end it...and by we, I meant her. Entirely her.

Jemma:

I dropped my hand to my side, stung by what he had said. I looked at him for a moment. I wanted to say something back to hurt him, that was my instant reaction. I turned away instead. “Thanks.” I muttered going to the door slowly.

I followed after her, opening the door for her politely and then shutting it behind both of us. "I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you. It was nice to be with you while I was...just next time you have a guys heart. Don't just play with it then toss it aside and do nothing but be mad at him for things he has no control over. Maybe spend some time with him." My voice was soft and I shrugged my shoulders. I rubbed my hands together and breathed into them to try and warm them up before I stepped off the porch and began walking away.

Jemma:

I stood still, stunned. “Are you…” I started, crossing my arms. “Are you breaking up with me?”

Alex:

"I thought you had already done that truth be told...You stopped interacting with me at all, and the few moments we did get...You were angry and upset at me for things I have no control over. So what is it you want? How can I make you smile and be happy again..." I hung my head a bit, feeling incredibly tired.

Jemma:

I stayed rooted to my spot with my arms crossed tightly. “What you need to understand is I’m not some self-centered little teenage girl in-love for the first time. I’ve done that before, I’m past that. Way past it. I have responsibilities. My attention is divided between many things. I have people I need to look out for. I can’t just go off doing whatever I want.” I said coolly. I took in a deep breath. “There are more important people in my life than a love interest. I’m sorry but it’s true. And it’s not going to change. It was true with Michael as well. There is absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do to keep Kai safe and well. Nothing. If he needs me, I’m going to drop everything for him. I’m sorry, But that’s the way it is. I’m sorry you can’t have my undivided attention, but that’s the way it is. Maybe you would understand if you had a child, or someone you had to look out for.” My nails were digging into my arm as I spoke. “If that’s a deal breaker then fine. You can go, I won’t stop you. But that’s your choice. You can tell yourself it’s my fault, blame it all on me. I don’t care. But this is your choice.”

Alex:

"No, I don't want all of your time. I would settle for an hour a day. A simple hour where you weren't making an angry face at me, ticked off at me. Or ticked off at the world and taking it out on me." I said quietly. I very nearly added in a comment that I knew would hurt or tick her off but I bit it back before it left my lips.

Jemma:

“Why do you even want to be with me if that’s how you see me?” I snapped, my eyes narrowing. “You’ve deluded me in your mind into this bitter picture.”

"I don't know you at all...I want to learn, but I guess that wont happen." I sighed and closed my eyes. "I'm sorry for causing you trouble, it seems best if I did leave. I did enjoy what we had." I turned around and slid my hands into my pocket. I started walking before calling over my shoulder softly, "I understand about Kai by the way. If I ever had a child, I would want a daughter. I would try to name her Demi too." I shrugged my shoulders a bit and turned my head forward.

Jemma:

Hot tears spilled over my cheeks. I was so confused by what he said, and by what I was feeling. I pushed off of the porch and flew up over the house. I flew up until the cold wind bit into my skin. I had forgotten a jacket in my rush to find Kai and Kat. I glided back down, lading in a large tree. Hugging myself, leaning against the trunk while I thought about my situation. No one wanted to stay with me, I always had to be different from how I am. I put my face in my hands and cried. I was losing Kai and I had already lost Alex. The others just didn’t matter as much… And Demi, I didn’t even know if she was real, or some phantom created to haunt me.

Alex:

I found a rose as I was walking and I plucked it. I then took a second to reach through the shadows in a tree to take a piece of paper and a pencil. I sat down then and wrote a letter before wrapping it around the rose that I had stripped of all thorns. I tied it with a black string and then closing my eyes I pressed it into the shadow of the tree. I pushed hard and once I got it where I wanted I let go and released the shadow. I stood up, brushed off my pants then stepped into the shadow of the tree and transporting myself away. I hoped that Jemma wouldn't mind the letter I had left her in her pocket.

I made my way into the kitchen, "Morning," i say sleepily to Sara and Ira. I grab some coffee and drink it slowly while making some toast. All i was hungry for really. I yawn and stretch my wings out a bit

Sara:

“Morning.” I said with a soft smile. Ira left the room leaving the two us alone. I was going to make breakfast but everyone was gone and Will was already having his own thing… I poured myself a cup of coffee and leaned against the counter.

Ira:

I had seen Jemma fly off through the kitchen window and went out to see if Alex was okay. I followed him and watched him with the rose for a moment. When he stood up I stepped forward, I saw him start disappearing and reached out for his arm.

I look around the room tiredly, not much to say. Guess i was still awkward around Sara still, but i was trying to get over it. "Hows everything been?" I ask since i hadnt really been out of the room in a while, when i did i just went out the window for a fly

Sara:

I shrugged. “Kai and Kat spent the whole night out, and Jemma’s been moping, and because she was moping, Alex was moping…” I told him. “I haven’t done much besides go to the store.”

hmmm" i say sitting down in a chair and leaning back in it boredly. "sounds like i havnt missed much." i say yawning a little. I havnt heard any fights, actual fights anyway, in a while. made everything to quiet, but i guess it was good we havnt been found out since we moved here. Since that was the original intention, i suppose.

Sara:

I nodded going over to the table to sit down. “I like it here. It feels clean and peaceful.” I said softly. “I was going to go out flying after I had breakfast… Would you want to join me?” I asked.

I obviously was going to say yes but i joked around, making a thinking face and stretching my wings a little. "i dunnooo.... maybe" i say chuckling and smiling.

Sara:

I grinned at him and hopped up to get breakfast. I toasted an English muffin and slathered butter on it.

i chuckle again and finish my toast and coffee silently. I yawn and stand up heading back to my room to go change into some better clothes for flying in

Sara:

I finished eating and pulled on my jacket, waiting for him in the living room.
