Mythic Land (closed)

Rye:
"Hmm..." I mumbled, looking at him, curiously. "There's a lot I don't know about you, but it feels like we've been friends for years." I said. "Its a very weird feeling." I told him.

Velaric:

“I’m glad to hear that Rye,” I said then stood up. The sky was light now and it would only be another couple minutes before the sun rose above the horizon. “I’m afraid it is time for me to retreat to my bedroom… would you like to join me?” I asked, offering my hand to help her up.

Rye:
I looked at his hand for a moment and bit my lip before meeting his eyes and then grabbing it. I stood up and nodded. "I would like that very much," I said.

Velaric:

After I helped her to her feet I lead her down the hallway to my bedroom. It was nearly as large as the living room and had a floor to ceiling wall as well, but it’s steel shutters and curtains were drawn currently. The décor in here was grey and black instead of grew and white, and there were more accents for deep red. I turned and took both her hands and walked backward toward the bed.

Rye:
I followed him into the bedroom and looked around the space, wide eyes and in complete awe. It was just as large as the rest of the house and I wasn't sure how exactly my night turned into this.

"I didn't bring a change of clothes," I blurted. It was silly. Obviously I hadn't. We had just met today.

Velaric:

“I can have them cleaned for you in a couple hours if you leave them outside the front door,” I said. The hotel had it’s own laundry service. I stepped close to her, tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and kissed the side of her neck. “You could borrow one of my shirts until then… If you so wish.”

Rye:
I held my breath as his lips got closer and tilted my head to the side to give him more room. "Uh...maybe it's not necessary," I mumbled. I reached my hand up and pulled his face to mine and pressed my lips to his.

Velaric:

My lips curved into a smile at her words. It was what I was hoping she would say. I moved to kiss her lips again, tracing my hands up along her spine lightly.

Rye:
When I woke up the next morning, I felt well rested and tired all at the same time. I was still naked from the night before and I unconsciously gripped the sheet to my chest without opening my eyes and stretched my toes with a yawn.

It had been a while since I had been so intimate with anyone and while I was a little sore, I felt content.

Velaric:

I felt her stirring and opened my eyes. It was earlier than I would normally wake up, but that was to be expected with someone who was used to day life. I shifted to my side and curled an arm around her. “How are you?” I asked, leaving a kiss on her shoulder. “Hungry?”

It was dark in the room. The only light came from a softly glowing clock, and a line of light coming from the bedroom door. It wasn’t enough to harm me, but I would have to close the window shudders before going into the living room.

Rye:
I sighed in content when I felt his arms around me and blinked my eyes open. I smiled at his small kiss and then nodded. "Yeah, I'm starving." I mumbled, my voice thick with sleep.

Velaric:

“What would you like? I can have anything brought up for you. The hotel chefs are very good, so I hear. Or I can get someone to fetch you something from anywhere in the city if you prefer?” I offered. I propped myself up on my elbows over her and looked at her sleepy face.

Rye:
I rolled over and pulled the sheet with me to look him in the eyes. "I could go for some fruit." I said, lifting my hand to trace a finger from his jaw, down his neck and over his bicep. "What about you?" I asked.

Velaric:

“I don’t need sustenance quite so often,” I said with a small smile. I enjoyed the feel of her finger training down my skin. “Fruit is all you want? I would think after last night that you would want something a little more… replenishing.”

Rye:
I shrugged and continued my little exploration to his chest. "Maybe if I were human," I said. "It was quite the workout," I joked. I moved slightly closer and pressed a few kisses to his jaw.

Velaric:

“Mmm.” I tilted my head slightly and half closed my eyes when she started kissing my jaw. “Do witches only eat fruit then? Are you a little hummingbird who lives off nectar? Or,” I opened my eyes more to look at her, “a little bat?”

Rye:
I smiled at his words and shifted even closer to kiss the parts of his neck that he was exposing by tilting his head. "Mhm." I mumbled against his skin. "I can be whatever you want me to be" I whispered.

Velaric:

“I think I like you just the way you are,” I murmured. I took a moment to lean down and kiss her once she had paused with her kissed. For a few minutes we laid in bed just making out leisurely. Finally, I pulled myself away and rolled out of bed. I pulled on a silk robe and went over to a control panel on the wall next to the door. I pressed a button and the sliver of light coming from under the door disappeared. Next, I called the hotel kitchen to have them bring up food for Rye.

Rye:
I sat up on the bed and found my shirt thrown across the foot of the bed and quickly pulled it over my head. It was long enough to cover me without needing my pants, so I got up and made my way to the bathroom across he room to freshen up a little bit.

Velaric:

I went to the kitchen and awaited the delivery of breakfast. While Rye was in the restroom I pulled out a blood bag and drained it like a juice box. I told her I didn’t need to eat as often as humans did, and that was true, but when I had company I liked to feed way before the point when I felt hunger. I tossed the bag in the trash and rinsed my mouth out with water when I finished.

Rye:
I finished up in the bathroom and tried to finger comb through my hair. I scrubbed my teeth with my finger a little bit of toothpaste I found in the cabinet and then walked back out. I found Velaric in the kitchen.

"Hey you," I said, leaning my back against the counter.

Velaric:

I smiled when she came in and mover over to her. I put a hand on her hip and kissed her for a moment. “Your breakfast should be coming shortly. Well,” I glanced at a clock on the wall, “Late lunch rather. I’m sorry if I’ve made you miss any plans for today. But I did very much enjoy your company.” I grinned at her.

Rye:
I smiled and shrugged. "I wasn't exactly pushing you away," I told him, laughing. "I had fun," I said. And I had. Even just spending the night around others who were more like me, it wasn't how I usually spent my time. And I had to admit, I liked it.

Velaric:

“As did I. In fact, I was hoping we could continue with this… How would you like to go to the Bahamas with me next week?” I asked, pulling away from her and leaning against the counter top. I watched her. I had done this with other people before her. Sometimes it scared them off, sometimes it thrilled them. It was a good way to get to know a person either way though.

Rye:
I looked at him in surprise. That, I had not been expecting. "You wanna go on vacation with me?" I asked. I had to admit, I wasn't as opposed to the idea as I probably should have been considering I just met him. I had never been to the Bahamas.
