Michael:

"You know, it would help if you guys labled the doors." I whispered to her, guessing she wasn't happy about the room choice. I settled Kat down gently, tucking her tail next to her.

Jemma:

"Mine is labeled.  It's labeled 'keep out'" I whispered back as I tucked the covers in around her.  "And I Sara's has a sticker on it I think."

Michael:

"I chuckled softly and nodded. "Are you going to let Kai know about this?" I asked her softly.

Jemma:

"What happened to Kat?" I asked and shrugged slowly motioning for him to follow me out of the room so Kat could sleep undisturbed.  "I don't think he is very happy with me at the moment..."

Michael:

"Should I go tell him then?" I asked before answering her question. "The unconciousness? Well, Kat agreed to put limits on her ability. You saw how strong it can be. She can drain someone dry of all of their energy. I have limits on mine as well I think, but without the code I can't access parts of it. Its like a timed password. Its useable more than once, but using it isn't good for the person."

Jemma:

I lead him into the living room and sat down on the couch with a slight frown tucking my legs underneath me. I didn’t like the idea of them being more powerful than me, it made me uncomfortable. “Hmm.” I said after realizing I hadn’t responded.

Michael:

I guessed at her thoughts. "With the limits on our gifts we wont ever be able to fully learn how to use and control them. Something you already know how to do with yours." I said touching her cheek.

Jemma:

“Yeah, all the good it does me if I can’t even use it on certain people.” I muttered sullenly staring at the ground rather than him. But I had to admit it did please me that I was more skilled with my ability than he was.

Michael:

"So you can't use it on me. I think of that as a perk. After all, it means I get to frustrate you and see your cute angry face." I said softly, tracing her jaw with my finger tips.

Jemma:

My expression turned flat at that, I didn’t want to be cute. His fingertips on my skin were distracting so I swatted his hand down and turned my face sharply away. I sighed after a moment and peeked at him sideways. This was going to be harder than I first thought.

I tilted my head watching her. "Yes?" I asked, in reference to the hand swatting, the flat look, and her peeking at me.

Jemma:

I studied him for a minute then looked down at my lap. “Are you sure about this?” I asked softly.

Michael

"About what?" I asked her softly.

Jemma:

"About us.  Being together." I said to my lap.  

I looked at her and whispered. "I like you a lot jemma, i want to make you happy."

Jemma:

I looked back at him, my eyes scrutinizing. “Why though?” I asked genuinely wanting to know. I was beautiful and unusual, and I could be very compelling, I knew that. But I hadn’t been that way with him, I had been rude, and somewhat hostile at times.

Michael

I shifted in place before sighing and closing my eyes. "Because....your the girl who saved my life. Do you remember the day were you destoyed the kitchen and it collapsed? Well my cell growing up was a room that i couldnt stznd up full, sit down, or lie down. I had been forgotten. My creature dying by somecones hand. I was his work of art, the final creation. You getting angry saved my life. All i am, and all i have lived through i owe to you."

Jemma:

I watched him uncertainly. “But that doesn’t account for why you care about me. Even if you do feel some debt.” I said quietly.

Michael

" You saved my life and originally it was to pay you back. But there was a moment where i was going to first speak to you, you did something that changed how i felt. You just helped someone, and all you got was a simple rose in thanks and you seemed so hppy to get it." I replid softly a small smile coming to my lips. "But then the school found me and i got injected with michaels dna."

Jemma:

I frowned slightly. I must have been young if I was still at the school. Who had I helped, I wondered trying to remember. Well if he had known of me back then I guess that explained it. I had been much softer than. “I’ve changed a lot. I’m not the same anymore.” I said ruefully.

I lifted her chin. "I dont care, maybe i can help soften you again."

Jemma:

My heart lurched as I looked into his eyes. “I don’t know if that is possible.” I whispered.

Michael

I smiled softly. "I am going to try anyway. Im as stubborn as you are."

Jemma:

A smile curled my lips. “You wanna bet?” I asked fluttering my lashes teasingly.

Michael

I nodded playfully. "Yes, i am."
