Jemma:

“You are terribly mistaken there.” I said getting to my knees so I could look down at him.

I tilted my head and chuckled. "Oh rezlly? Prove that you love me more than i you."

Jemma:

“I didn’t leave you.” I said simply, it was proof enough in my eyes. “And the fact the that I went after you twice and was able to get you to come back should prove that I’m more stubborn than you.” I hopped of the couch neatly onto my feet.

I snorted. "And yet you did leave me on the roof of the school." I replied with a yawn.

Jemma:

“But you told me to. And I came back for you.” I said, my hands on my hips and my head tilted to the side slightly.

I chuckled. "If you were stubborn enough you wouldnt have listened." I responded sticking out my tongue.

Jemma:

My lips parted in objection. I put my hands on his shoulders and pushed him back into the couch lightly. “That isn’t true. There were other reasons why I had to leave and you know it.” I said leaning over him looking back into his eyes.

I blinked up at her innocently. "I though you could handle anything."

Jemma:

My eyes flashed for a second but not long enough for him to read them. I wasn’t as strong as I acted, that the only reason I had made it through so many situations successfully was through desperation and determination. “I can.” I said, “But sometimes I handle things by coming back to them.”

I smiled and noting how close she was i brought my face up and kissed her.

Jemma:

I kissed him back, my hands softening on his shoulders. And I felt nothing. Its different, I told myself and my body. I pulled away from him, I didn’t want to mess this up. “I’m going to bed.” I muttered, turning away without looking at him.

Michael

I blinked and had to resist checking her head to see what she was thinking. I had felt an energy go through me at the kiss, it was nice.

Jemma:

I went to my room and closed the door before falling onto the bed and covering my face with my hands. What was wrong with me?

Michael

I did hear Kai land outside though but he didnt come in.

Sara:

A text from Kai woke me up. I yawned and crawled out of bed. I shuffled tiredly into the living room looking for my jacket.

Michael,

I looked up at 26 and shifted forms and ran to her, looking up at her as i wagged my tail.

26:

I smiled seeing Michael. “Hey.” I said kneeling down and reaching out to pet him.

Michael

I barked and leaned into the petting, glad to just enjoy the attention. I wasnt sure what to do about Jemma right now.

26:

I rubbed behind his ears for a moment before spotting my jacket and darting to put it on. “Come on, Kai is waiting for me outside.” I whispered. He had said not to tell Jemma, but I guessed he wouldn’t mind about Michael.

Michael:

I followed Sara outside and barked softly at Kai.

26:

Kai looked down at Michael for a moment then at me, his face impassive. I crawled up on the porch railing so I could smooth his windblown hair. “You’re so cold! Why don’t you come inside? It’s late.” I said softly so my voice wouldn’t carry. He made a face. “I’m not tired at all.”

Michael:

I tilted my head looking at Kai before climbing onto the railing. I sat there and looked up at the moon.

26:

Kai glanced at Michael for a second again. “What do you think about earlier?” He asked quietly. I glanced sideways at the fox too, did he know that Adam had come to see use while they were away? Had Jemma told him? “I don’t know.. Is that what’s upsetting you?” I asked my brother. “I don’t like being lied to.” He muttered. “Well I didn’t like it much either but we couldn’t have known who he-“ “I was talking about Jemma.”

michael:

I let out a soft breath, hopped off of the rail and went exploring so they could talk in peace. I sent a passing thought into Sara's head reminding her to tell Kai about Kat.

Sara:

I let him talk for a while about Jemma, trying to make him see that it wasn’t as bad as he thought, though I didn’t like it either. After a while I told him what happened to Kat. He was quiet for several minutes before sighing and heading in the house. I frowned not sure what to think about that.

Kai:

I opened my room door silently and moved around easily in the dark until I was kneeling at the side of the bed watching Kat.
