hm weird me....hell yes (open)

Jemma:

“Michael! You are! Lay down, I can’t believe you didn’t let me know.” I said in disapproval.

Michael

I opened my mouth and let out a growl as if to saycin this form i couldnt. And it was the truth, it was one reason i didnt like using this form.

Jemma:

“Well lay down!” I insisted as I got to my feet slowly.

Michael

I sighed and laid down awkwardly so as to avoid shifting my hurt ribs any more.

Jemma:

I picked my shirt up off the ground and pulled it on over my sports bra, both were stained with blood. I extended my wings again and beat them once. I wouldn’t be able to fly yet, but being here made me antsy especially since I had a guess as to who shot me.

I looked up at her in concern before getting to my feet focefully. I could feel her want to leave and i motioned with my head to get on.

Jemma:

“If you don’t lay back down I am going to smack you. We’re both injured, we should stay here and rest. Do you heal best in that form?” I asked.

Michael

I shook my head and rolled my shoulders before laying down slowly again. The problem was t was hard to get out of this form.

Jemma:

I let out a small frustrated breath. I couldn’t understand him at all like this. I sat down cross legged in front of him and looked us at the sky. It always seemed more beautiful when I was tethered to the ground.

Michael

I took several deep breathes before shifting back inti human form. I knelt on my hands and knees gasping for breath through gritted teeth.

Jemma:

I looked back to him. “Michael! You didn’t have to change! I know it hurts you.” I said quickly but I was secretly happy that he had, my heart gave a little jump at the sight of him.

I pulled off her sweatshirt and offered it to her, not carin that ot left my shirtless. "I think i broke my ribs in the fall..." i said holding them tenderly. I didnt say anythin about her sleeping on them all night either.

Jemma:

I frowned as I took my shirt back. “I’m sorry... It was my fault.. I should have landed better..”

Michael

I shook my head. "Dont blame yourself. You got shot, what else coukd you havecdone?" I asked looking at the bruising on my side. My shirt had already been used to bandage her up so it was easy to see my injuies.

Jemma:

“Well it is my fault. I could have landed better.” I said frowning at the bruise on his side.

Michael:

I shook my head, glad she hadn't realized she had slept on those ribs. This just wasn't going to be fun to wait for these to heal.

Jemma:

“Let’s just hope the kids don’t get into trouble.” I said glumly leaning back against the tree.

I leaned against the tree next to her. Closing my eyes to rest.

Jemma:

I watched him once he closed his eyes. My heart beat painfully.

I could feel her eyes on me but I didn't respond much to them. I could also smell her scent as she was close to me.

Jemma:

I let out a soft breath and looked back up at the sky. It wouldn’t be hard to shoot me now, or Michael. I wondered if the shooter had known I had Michael in my jacket last night, had they been a better shot they could have taken us both out with one bullet.

Michael:

I opened my eyes and looked at her, wondering what she was thinking.

Jemma:

I felt him watching me and looked back to meet his gaze.  I held it for a moment before looking away with a slight blush coming to my cheeks. 

I reached over and tou hed her cheek and the blush on it. I was co fused but i kept silent and let my fingers lingervthhere.

Jemma:

I closed my eyes and went perfectly still as an argument played out in my head. I was so tired of always having to be so harsh, never letting myself do what I wanted because of what might happen. But I wanted to forget about everything else right now, my self-control was weak at best at the moment any way. Finally I opened my eyes halfway and placed one hand over his and curled the other around his wrist lightly. My heart beat spiked as I turned my face and kissed the palm of his hand softly.
