Jemma:

I pulled him into the kitchen. “Kai, what happened?” I demanded. “Tasha’s pack. They found us. Kat and me.” He said. “Where is Kat?” I asked worriedly. “Probably out still.” He said with a sigh. I sat him down in a chair. “My God, how many times did they get you?” I asked while wetting a cloth in the sink to wipe the blood away. “Six ones broke the skin. Mostly from Shira. Nallie mainly licked, and sucked.” He shuddered and touched a red blotch on his neck. My stomach turned. “Biches.” I hissed.

26:

“I’ll go see.” I said leaning over to kiss Will’s cheek before darting to the kitchen.

I dressed and left Jemma's room to stand in the kitchen out of the way. "Kat likes you to much to let you stay injured. What happened?" I asked Kai softly.'

Kat:

I closed my eyes, resting to conserve energy. The bubble around me was slowly draining, but I had plenty of energy for it. I shivered, feeling slightly miserable as I ran over what happened in my head. I had messed up somehow, making Kai mad at me....I couldn't firgure out how so I guessed it was just me. Maybe he didn't actually care...but then....I shook my head and curled up tighter, my wings staying out even as I shivered miserably from the cold.

Jemma:

“Yeah.. Why didn’t she heal you?” I asked as I dabbed at the wounds. Kai sighed. “I guess I didn’t give her a chance to.. I don’t know what happened.” He said with a frown. A gasp came from the door way. “What did you do?” Sara asked with wide eyes. She came in front of him and tried to touch a bite mark but he slapped her hand away. “What happened?” She asked me this time. “He got attacked.” I told her then he pushed my hand away and snatched the cloth from my hands. “I’ll do it.” He growled. I scowled at him and put my hands on my hips.

Michael:

"You must have done quite a number. The only time I have ever seen Kat firm is when people are injured." I said shaking my head absently. I went out side wondering if Kat was out there. I found Kai's jacket and not seeing Kat I brought it in and laid it on the table. "Here, I think this is yours."

i walk out ad followed 26 wincing alitle when i saw th kid. "what happened man? who attacked you?"

Jemma:

I watched Kai for a moment. “It’s this group of literally psycho girls. They’ve been after us for a while. Usually I’m the one who has to be cleaned up.” I said with a frown. I hated that they even touched Kai. “Well they’ll probably be here soon.” He hissed sullenly. “Will, do you mind healing him? Please?” I asked looking over at him.

I nod, "i can manage that" i say walking over

Michael:

I watched the procedings, not certain as to what I should think. Part of me wished that I could go back to what was happening with Jemma, another wanting to protect everyone and the last part wanting to make sure things were ok with Kat.

Demi stumbled in to the kitchen with I yawn. She looked at everyone with wide eyes but no one seemed to notice her. She made her was to Michael and hugged his leg.

Jemma:

Kai looked down and made an annoyed noise when Will came over to him. I sighed. “Thanks.” I told him crossing my arms as I watched.

"and i need to talk to you about something later." i tell jemma as i start healing KAi

Jemma:

“Oh lovely. I was hoping someone would say that to me.” I muttered sarcastically.

Michael:

I rubbed Demi's back absently as I watched, my curiosity the only thing keeping me in the kitchen at this point.

i shrugged and finished healing Kai

Jemma:

I let out a frustrated breath. “I’m going to go after them.” I decided and headed out of the kitchen to my room.

Kai:

I blinked then stood up quickly. “What? Why? Jemma you can’t!” I pushed past everyone in the kitchen to follow her.

Demi made a soft distressed sound and pressed her face into Michael’s leg. She could feel the tension and it bothered her.

I grabbed Kai's arm as he walked by me. I looked towards him, knowing he wouldn't be happy about me stopping him. "You have more pressing matters. Kat isn't in the house, and its freezing outside. I will go with Jemma, you go find Kat." I looked down at Demi. "Will you be a good girl and listen to sara?" I asked her rubbing her back.

Kai:

I gave Michael a cold look but I knew he was right.. I glanced down at Demi who nodded slowly.

Jemma:

I finished getting dressed then pulled on my jacket, tucking a couple knives into my pockets. I headed to the living room to make sure no one was going to follow me. I could guess where I would have a couple problems.

I nodded once and released Demi and Kai before ruffling both of their hair. "Dont worry, everything will work out." I said before heading out into the living room. I saw Jemma and I smiled opening the door. "Ready to go?"

Jemma:

I narrowed my eyes. “Yes. I am. But you are staying here.” I said determinedly.

Michael:

I smirked. "Well the way I see it. Either I come with you, or I sent Kai after you." I said good naturally as I grabbed my coat and opened the front door.

Jemma:

“Or you could stay here and make sure all the kids are safe, like I was hoping you would do.” I said seriously.

Michael:

I shook my head. "I'm good but I cant stop the teleporting and speedy couple that is Sara and Will. I can stop one but not the other. One way or the other someone would be going after you. Besides Kai needs to find Kat."

Jemma:

I sighed. “Fine.” I said and walked out the door. Honestly it made me feel better that he would come with me. All four girls were a bit much, even for me. Pulled my jacket up against the freezing cold wind.

I closed the door behind and shifted into my fox form, hopping into her arms to help lend my body heat to hers.

Jemma:

I zipped him up in my jacket then took off. “I’ll be careful this time.” I promised.

Kai:

I sighed then put the jacket Kat had been wearing back on. Part of me still wanted to go after Jemma, but I knew Kat needed me more. “I’m going to go find Kat.” I said before heading out the door.

Kat:

I fell into a half sleep half unconscious state from the cold. My body doing nothing but shivering. Up here it had started to snow, adding weight to my protective sphere, making it drain my energy faster. Without being sleeping or conscious I was unable to keep the sphere going as well, so eventually it just gave out, and I plummeted to the ground. My powers want to protect me from harm shielded me when I hit the ground, landing in a puddle at the edge of a waterfall. The thin tanktop, and shorts I was wearing easily getting soaked and just adding to my cold.
