hm weird me....hell yes (open)

Jemma:

Even under the salt, I could smell his scent. It was so similar to Michael. My heart constricted. He was warm, it felt the same. If I just closed my eyes I could pretend…. I drew in a sharp breath and put my hand flat on his chest, pushing him away slowly. “I’m going to go get dressed.” I murmured, hurrying out of the kitchen.

((Alex's smell is more potent than Michaels =P The salt is masking it, I cant wait for her to get the full dose.))

Alex:

I blinked and watched her leave before going back to cooking. I put all of it into a large container so that it could stay warm and be served from. Once that was done I quickly cleaned up and did the dishes before looking around absently. Hugging her had felt nice...and for a moment there in the hug, it felt like it had changed from a hug of companionship to one of...something more.

Once i helped 26 with what little left there needed to be done, i headed outside. I sit down in front of the woods in the back yard and meditate quietly.

Jemma:

I stood at the front of the boat once I had dressed. The sun had already set but the sky was still streaked with pink, and the clouds were outlined with orange. It was beautiful, but my thoughts were dwelling on Alex. Somehow, being around him lessened the pain of losing Michael. Maybe it was just an illusion. I wasn’t sure it was entirely a good thing to be around him. I was in a more vulnerable state than I had been in a long time. Maybe I should just leave him on the boat… I sighed and sat down on the bench, waiting for him to come back up top.

I went back up on deck silently, grabbing my clothes and pulling them on right there. I stood watching her the container of food in my hands. It was a large pot with a lid, full of rice and fish. Spiced well, it was a simple dish but one that would taste amazing.

Jemma:

I looked up at him for a moment then got to my feet. “How heavy is that?” I asked walking over slowly.

I hefted it consideringly. "Heavier than I am when I am in fox form." I look longingly up towards the sky before sighing. "Shall I meet you back at the house then? I'm sure I could find some shadows down here."

Jemma:

“No, I can do it. You’ll just have to be zipped up in my jacket is all.” I said and took the pot from his hands and set it down on the bench. “Come on.”

I tilted my head curious at what being zipped up in her jacket meant, but I decided against asking and changed into my fox form. I looked up at her, an excited gleam in my eyes at being able to fly again. I looked up at her trying to look as cute as possible as I begged to be able to fly.

Jemma:

I picked him up gently and zipped him into my red jacket so only his head was peeking out. I picked up the pot and hopped over the edge of the boat. My wings had to work harder with the extra weight, but it wasn’t too uncomfortable.

I was a bit surprised with my position, I looked up at her in surprise, trying to figure her out. There was just something about her, that made being around her so much fun but at the same time, she just confused the living hell out of me.

Jemma:

I landed a short ways away from the house. I wasn’t sure how the others would react to meeting Alex, or me bringing him back. “Maybe you should change back..” I told him. His for form would be familiar.

I nodded and looked up at her. "Its not going to be good on your jacket if I change trapped in here..." I said softly, pressing my nose to her neck to get her attention.

Jemma:

I supported the pot on my hip and held it with one hand while I unzipped my jacket to let him down.

I hopped out of her jacket and once my paws hit the floor I switched forms. I crouched their before standing up my ears twiching a bit nervously.

Jemma:

I handed him the pot. “What’s wrong?” I asked noticing his ears twitching

"Nervous I suppose. Never have been with a family before." I admitted holding the pot in my hands.

Jemma:

I smiled softly. “They don’t bite.” I said. “Well, mostly. Come on. You already know Kat anyway don’t you?” I asked as I lead the way to the house.

I grimaced at that. "Not really, I just was able to give her food sometimes. Poor girl was a mess, if you want someone with mental and emotional scars she is the one you want to look at."

Jemma:

“She’s okay now that she’s with us.” I assured him. I wasn’t sure I liked the idea of Kai being with someone with those described issues, but then again, there was no other option now.

Alex:

"Just dont let her be alone and she will be fine." I said softly as I followed her, my ears flicking occasionally. I wondered how they would all react, would they see Michael instead of me? Would they think I was with Jemma in a relationship, would that ever happen? Doubtful...but who knows, Jemma had surprised me already. Would they shun me though? That was the big one.

Jemma:

I lead him in through the back door and into the kitchen. “Did you forget to bring din- oh.” Sara stopped short in the doorway clearly surprised to see Alex with me. Or anyone with me. Her eyes widened when she looked up to see his ears.

((Isn't Sara the flirty one who falls for every guy? Because Alex...you know...better looking than Michael. =P))

Alex:

I shifted in place looking at Sara, I gave her a once over before smiling a little bit. I glanced at Jemma hopefully, not wanting to give away that I knew her name already. I didn't know what to do around them, it was odd. They were Michael's family, and friends. What was I supposed to do...

Jemma:

“This is, um, Alex.” I nodded to him. “He’s Michael’s brother.” I muttered turning to get plates out of the cabinet.

Sera:

I blinked in surprise. “Michael’s brother?” I repeated. I had never even known Michael had a brother. And I had been with him for a while…

Alex:

I smiled softly at her and set the pot on the stove, turning it to a low heat to keep the things warm before looking at Sara. "Maybe this will help..." I said before slipping into the baby fox form, looking up at her as adorably as possible before going back to my human one, my tail flicking. Michael was orange and white, I was grey and red in fox form.
