Boarding School for the Mythical

I smiled brightly and brought it up to my nose happily as I rushed over to sit on the bed.

Velaric:

“The bathroom is down the hall, and it has all sorts of soaps and shampoos if you want to take a shower. Help yourself to any food in the kitchen. I’ll probably sleep longer than you, but my friend Sphinx should be home soon, and he probably wont sleep for long. So if you have questions you can ask him, or you can come knock on my door, just dry not to let daylight in if the living room blinds are open.” I told her

I nodded to him, half my face still hidden by the shirt. I really liked the scent, I could smell the pheromones that were trying to mold themselves to be what I wanted, and so I just burned those as soon as I smelled them. Underneath that was the scent I was enjoying.

Velaric:

I smiled softly, watching her for a moment. “Good night.” I said after a few minutes moving to close the door as I left.

I stayed up for who knows how long just smelling the shirt before I eventually curled up into a ball around it.

Tabitha:

I woke up in the morning on the couch in a silk nightgown I had never seen before. I looked around the room with wide eyes, several picture frames had been smashed and tossed on the floor. And my knees were bloody as if I had fallen down on the shattered glass. Shade blinked at me, curled up on my belly. I sat up slowly so as not to disturb him too much and reached for my phone, dialing Sphinx’s number.

Sphinx:

I picked up my phone and held it to my ear with my shoulder as I focused on making an omlette back at the hotel. "Hello?" I asked into the phone, having forgotten to check to see who it was.

Tabitha:

“Hey…” I said slowly. All I could remember last night was kissing him, then I blacked out.. What had happened? And had he known I wasn’t myself? I was afraid to ask.

"Tabitha?" I asked in mild surprise, "Hey, you okay? The other you came up last night." I gave a small curse in a language no longer spoken as I nearly burned my omelet.

Tabitha:

“..That is what I thought.. What happened exactly? Did she get into a fight with you?” I asked nervously.

I shook my head before speaking, "No, I went from kissing you to kissing her, all without ever moving my lips. I was going to tease you a bit about it...but well the other you kept pulling me back for a kiss. That is what tipped me off. When she realized I wasn't going to kiss her anymore she left to change, stripping out of he...your top on the way. I said goodnight to both of you...or I tried. And she did her best to try and get me to stay...um...you looked really really good in the nightgown by the way..."

Tabitha:

I blushed deeply while looking down at the skimpy night gown. “It’s not mine..” I muttered. “I’m sorry about this Sphinx.. It hasn’t happened in a long time, I swear.. I don’t know why I lost control last night..” I put my hand to my head and leaned against it.

Sphinx:

"Well, we could experiment and see what might have caused it. I have a few ideas of why though." I remarked as I slid my omelet onto a plate.

Tabitha:

“Oh? What are your ideas?” I asked curiously.

"Too much emotion at once mostly." I told her as I grabbed a fork and started eating my food.

Tabitha:

“Ah.” I fidgeted with the hem of the nightgown. “So, are you sure you really want to keep doing this? Being around me?” I asked nervously.

Sphinx:

"Of course Tabitha. I have no intention to leave." I told her softly.

Tabitha:

I sighed softly. “Even with this… Issue?” I asked playing with Shade’s ear.

"Yes." I said softly, before taking another bite.

Tabitha:

I sighed. “I’m really sorry Sphinx, I thought I had this under control.. I don’t want to put you in danger because of it.” I said quietly.

Sphinx:

"Hush, its okay Tabitha, I promise okay? Now you have one hour to get cleaned up before I am taking you out." I said smiling to myself.

Tabitha:

I couldn’t help my heart beat jumping at the thought of seeing him so soon, but I was still unhappy with the way I was and I didn’t want him to get hurt because of it. I sighed softly. “Okay.”

Sphinx:

"If you don't cheer up, I am going to have to do something drastic." I warned, grinning to myself.

Tabitha:

“I think I’ll be more cheerful once I’m around you.” I said softly as I got up to tip toe around the broken glass.

Sphinx:

I closed my eyes and focused my powers, when I opened them again I was panting a little. I took a few breaths before saying into the phone. "Check outside your door." I said into the phone. Outside her front door was a vase full of her favorite flowers.
