hm weird me....hell yes (open)

I let my eyes look at myself, noting the shadow before I willed some of it to cover my mouth and cheeks like a mask. "Don't touch the shadows." I warned.

Jemma:

I shook my head, dropped my gaze and started to turn away. “I wasn’t going to kiss you, Michael.” I said bitterly.

Michael:

"Your running out of time as it is. And I have limited control over how the shadows spread." I said softly while holding a hand out.

Jemma:

I took his hand slowly then hugged him carefully, pressing my forehead into his shoulder and squeezing my eyes shut.

I patted her back gently, my other arm around her.

Jemma:

“Why does everyone I love always end up leaving me…” I mumbled.

"In my defense, I just relocated myself. And Alex won't leave if you show him you care." I whispered softly. "Kai won't leave you either."

Jemma:

“He already is.” I said dully. “Maybe Alex is the one who wont. Only time can tell. He’s an awful lot like you.” I pulled away as last and looked up into his face. "I wish I had never known you." I said honestly.

I nodded a sad smile touching my lips. Through the shadows she wouldn't be able to see it, but for that I was grateful. "Replace what you know of me with Alex. And Kai isn't leaving you. He is growing up. He loves you, anyone can see that. He has to grow up sometime. What would you do if someone tried to tell you who to love or what to do? Set limits on the two, but don't restrict them. They are smart and trust you. They will look to you for help eventually, trust me." I bumped my forehead against hers before pulling out of her arms as the shadows started spreading over me. "Take care of the kids Jemma. Miss you." As the shadows covered me completely I started to fade and once I was gone I sat down in the dark world of Alex's making and brought his power under control. My mind faded until all that was left, was Kage.

Jemma:

The tears came back in a flood. Wasn’t this better? Being able to say an actual goodbye? I choked on my tears and made my way blindly to the bathroom where I locked myself in and climbed into the shower with all of my clothes and let cool water poor over me. I wasn’t going to shut down like I had before. But I still needed time to myself to recover.

Ira:

I took off my sweatshirt but kept my gloves on as I watched the boy and the shadows. I flicked my long silver hair over my shoulder.

Alex:

I paused and looked around, blinking with a confused look. The shadow creatures faded out of existence. I looked at the girl sitting on the porch.

Ira:

I smiled slightly. “Hi there.” I said quietly, inching away just a little. “Are you okay?” I asked kindly.

"What happened?" I asked confused, looking around. "I remember Kat freaking out, then nothing but shadows..."

Ira:

“Like. I’m not even sure myself. Shadows were just swarming you. But this guy said not to interfere, and I watched you while he went to talk to Jemma inside because she was mad at him… and those kids left. I’m Ira by the way. I’m an old friend of Jemma’s…” I told him.

Alex:

I sat down and wiped my forehead, looking at the sweat on it. "Oh. Nice to meet you."

Ira:

“You too…” I said quietly looking at the ground now.
