School of Thought

I wandered back to my playroom, climbing up high again to grab a headset. All of them in the house could play music from a central music hub, but they could also receive messages, such as my brother calling me to come and eat.

Danny:

I went down when I heard the door bell ringing. The door had already been answered and in came Jin and Krista. “Is she joining us then?” Krista asked, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

Felicia: I had the music playing loudly again, through the speakers as well. I scampered all over my play area, swinging this way and that, sliding down, climbing back up, ect. I was having fun.

Danny:

“Yeah. One sec.” I told them as I moved to the intercom. “Kitty, our guests are here.” I hoped she hadn’t messed up her outfit yet.

I clambered down, and brushed myself off, not even noticing that my top had come untied in the back. My hair was a bit of a wild mess, but I didn't care much as I grabbed the borrowed mp3 player, and left the playroom. The speakers in the room turned off automatically once I had left, but my headphones still blared music loud enough to be heard by others near me.

Danny:

When she came up I neatly plucked the headphones from her and tossed them aside. I smoother her hair and retied her top before presenting her to the two.

I stood there looking at the two shyly, my ears laid back unhappily. I didn't like it when he took my music away from me like that...I could still hear perfectly fine even with the music playing that loud. Feeling awkward I held out the mp3 player in both hands as my tail gave an agitated swish.

Danny:

Jin stepped forward to take it from her with a goofy smile. “Thanks, hope it helped. Did you like my music?” He asked. “Lets move to the living room.” I cut in and grabbed my sister’s arm to steer her before she could reply.

I opened my mouth to respond, but was cut short by Danny. I frowned a little before letting myself be dragged off. Why couldn't I answer when he asked?

Danny:

I sat her down on the love seat and sat next to her, instructing the other to sit as well. “So what did you think of your first day in college Felicia?” Krista asked her.

Felicia:

"Um well...I am not very good at taking notes...and I had my issue..." I said looking down shyly. I wasn't entirely sure about what to make of them now. They were special people like Danny and I?

Krista smiled. “Well I was in one of the same classes you’re in last semester. I still have my notes if you want them.” She offered.

Felicia:

I looked up, my ears sticking straight up. My gaze was one of hope as I focused on her. "Really? You would do that?"

Krista laughed softly at her reaction and nodded. “It’s no biggie, babe, I have them anyway. They’re just wasting space now.”

Felicia:

I gasped happily and dived off the loveseat only to be brought up short in mid leap. I hit the ground on my back with a small off, a magic hand was gripping the back of my top. I turned my eyes to him guiltily.

Danny:

I had her plucked up from the floor and placed back in her seat. Krista smiled sweetly. “If your that eager I suppose I could go get them now. I think they’re in my car if you want to come with me?” She asked.

I nearly leaped to my feet at her words, wanting the notes so I would never have to take any in that class. But I stopped myself, glancing warily towards Danny. I didn't want to be whip lashed again.

Danny:

I watched her thought process through her eyes. For me, she was too easy to read. “Go on, but this doesn’t mean you don’t have to pay attention in class, you still do.” I told her.

Felicia:

I pouted then nodded. The nodding was simply to appease him, as I probably wouldn't pay much attention anyway. I would try, because it would make Danny happy. I liked making him happy, especially since he did so much to make me happy.

“Come on girly.” Krista said nodding toward the doorway.

Felicia:

I got to my feet, skipping over to her grinning.

Krista looped her arm through Felicia’s and lead her outside to her car. She unlocked it with the remote and let Felicia go by her side. After She popped the trunk she rustled through all the loose papers and notebooks until she found the right one and held it out to her. “Here ya go. Sorry my handwriting is kinda messy.”

Felicia:

I took the pages and flipped through them, my mouth moving as I read. "Mine is worse, so don't worry!" I said cheerfully before resuming what Danny had stopped me from doing. I tackled her in a hug giving an excited and much repeated "Thank you!" I let go after a few seconds and hugged the papers to my chest.

Krista laughed and patted her back. “No problem.” She pulled a little while box from her pocket and flicked it open. “Want one? I won’t tell your brother.” She smiled playfully.

Felicia:

I blinked and tilted my head before nodding slowly. "Sure, I have never had one before." I admitted keeping the papers cradled against my chest.
