Why would I leave?". I ask looking back at her, "nowhere to go, no one I know." I say laying back again on the ground, thinking to myself. I didn't want to leave her alone

"Well yeah. You kind of are...but so what? Does that mean you want to be a baby for the rest of your life?" I asked her making an attempt to make her smile.

Sara:

I pulled my knees up and hugged them, rocking a little. “Thank you.” I said softly.

Ira:

I blinked in surprise at him. “Well no… But I’m pretty helpless…” I said quietly, a little color coming to my pare cheeks.

Kai:

I stirred a little letting out a deep breath. I blinked sleep out of my eyes slowly.

I look at her quietly and sit up, resting my arms aon my knees. "You dont have to thank me... Are you ok?" i ask softly

"Like a new born cub you are." I considered for a moment then grinned wickedly. "Since you are so sure about acting like a kid...I can treat you like one. Now come on." I said picking her up easily.

Sara:

“Yeah, I’m just tired off all of this. I wish we were just normal.” I muttered.

Ira:

I couldn’t help but giggle as I put my arms around his neck to hold on. “Where are we going?” I asked.

I stopped in an empty room and set her down, took a few steps back then raised my hand to the ceiling. I concentrated a moment before I lashed out like a whip with my shadow. It hit the sprinkler above her and water started shooting out in a fountain.

Ira:

I gasped in surprise. “What did you do?” I asked stepping closer to him as my clothes slowly became drenched.

"Gave you a bath." I told her with an innocent smile. I was standing just far enough away that I was getting damp but not soaked by the sprinkler.

I frown a little a chuckle at that. "Why? To me at least, Normal is boring." I say with a slight shrug. I stretch out my wings boredly letting the breeze run theough the feathers.

Ira:

I grinned at him. Was I really that dirty?” I asked moving even closer.

Sara:

“Well, it would just be nice not to have to hide… and be able to do normal things without being shunned by normal people…” I said, watching his wings admiringly.

YEah i can understand that at least.... but thats just not the case. Just have to live with iy you know?" i say frowning a little. I fold my wings back in and sigh rubbing my eyes

I shrugged, "Perhaps, but I figure that is the first thing your supposed to do when taking care of someone right? Make sure they are clean?"

Sara:

“Are you alright?” I asked, turning his question around on him.

Ira:

“And you’re taking care of me now?” I asked the smile fading a little to a more serious expression.

"Well, of course. Your crying and sad. I gotta make you happy. Once your happy, you won't need to be taken care of." I stated matter of factly with a sharp nod.

I look over at her and half smile before turning back out to the scenery over the cliff. "Yeah, im alright."

Sara:

I hopped up to my feet and spread my wings. “Race ya to the bottom.” I said with a grin before throwing myself off the edge.

Ira:

“What about you?” I asked softly. “Are you happy?”

I chuckle a bit and jump off after her, keeping my wings close to my back so i fell faster.

My smile died out and I looked away, "I broke up with Jemma. I grew tired of taking her frustration at everything else and being yelled at and glared at because of it...and well...I kind of want to spend time with the girl I love. But we never did because she spent all her time watching over the others."

Ira:

“Oh.” I said softly. “I’m very sorry.” I reached out and took his hand in both of mine and held it gently. “Jemma is not always the easiest person to get along with, I know, I grew up with her. It takes a special kind of person to handle her…” I said, hoping to make him feel better.

I smiled tiredly, "I think she looks at me and sees my brother. I had hoped that perhaps she might see past that but..." I shrugged and waved it off. "No matter, time will tell what happens about all of it."

Ira:

I nodded a little. “I have heard of a place that takes in our kind, I was looking for it before I decided to find Jemma. Supposedly they can cure out of control powers, and do other amazing things. Maybe we could find it together?” I asked, a little uncertainly.

I looked at her then let out a soft breath. I smiled softly and touched her cheek gently. "Well, if they do exist we will find them then. No one should be afraid to touch others." I didn't add that I doubted they could help me. I knew of a few who could absorb powers. But powers simply didn't work on me, but perhaps they could cure me as well. It was worth the effort, but more than that I could help her.
