Ira:

“Me.” I took in a shaky breath then pinched the finger of my glove and pulled it off. I stepped forward then hesitantly touched his arm before jerking back quickly just in case.

Alex:

I looked down at my arm then up at her. "What? Am I missing something here?"

Ira:

“I shouldn’t be able to do this… I’ve never been able to do this…” I said, wonderstruck.

"If its a power, well...Powers don't work on me. My power kind of...consumes them so they just don't work." I admitted. I reached out and took her hand in mine, gripping it so she couldn't pull away. "See."

Ira:

I drew in a sharp shaky breath and tried to pull back a little but stopped, he clearly wasn’t effected. “I can’t believe it…” I whispered, staring at our hands.

"The thought to fake dying crossed my mind, but it seemed to be in poor taste. "I admitted to her with a nervous smile.

Ira:

I looked up into his eyes. A smile spread over my lips and I laughed softly.

"You smiled, that is a start right?" I asked matching her smile.

Ira:

I nodded and squeezed his hand a little, just to make sure it was real.

"Yes, its real." I told her my other hand reaching out to poke her cheek.

Ira:

I laughed softly and blushed a little.

I took my hands back and crossed my arms, "Do things look as bleak now?

Ira:

“Well not as…” I said softly, letting my hand fall to my side. “But still… You’re the only one…”

Alex:

"Dont forget Kage! He can do everything I can too." I said with a smile.

Ira:

“Was that the shadow, poof guy?” I asked.

Alex:

"You know of Kage?" I asked in surprise. "I don't remember showing you him...and he can't leave the shadow place."

Ira:

“Uh.” I said realizing now maybe I shouldn’t say anything. “I don’t know.” I shook my head.

"Oh...well maybe I can take you to meet him?" I asked mostly to myself. I shrugged my shoulders then gestured to the house. "We should go inside and get you to Jemma."

Ira:

I nodded but didn’t move to the door. This was there place, I didn’t want to intrude.

I opened the door and gestured her inside. "A friend of Jemma is always welcome inside the house."

Ira;

I smiled, grabbing my hoodie off the ground before going in. I pulled the hoodie on and slid my gloves back on before looking around. “Where is she?” I asked quietly.

I shrugged my shoulders. "She has been busy worrying about the other kids. So I have no idea. Your welcome to search the house."

Jemma:

I heard voices as soon as I stepped out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel wrapped around myself. I peaked out from the hall way and sight softly when I saw it was just Ira and Alex.

I heard a sigh and I turned and waved to Jemma, "Hey, there you are. Ira was looking for you."

Jemma:

I glanced at Alex before looking away quickly. “I gathered you were looking for me. You found me. Congratulations.” I said dryly before turning to go to my room.

Ira:

I blinked, I had expected her to be a little warmer.
