Boarding School for the Mythical

 

"I won't force it onto you...I'll be fine I promise." I said after letting out a soft breath and sitting up. I turned my head to look at her, unable to keep the exhaustion from my face.

I ran a hand through my hair, looking away before nodding. "Later we can try...for now let us not attempt and possibly ruin Vivian's day. I promise. Later we can do what ever you wish to try." I reached my free hand out to take one of hers.

I nodded.  "Okay,"  I squeezed his hand gently.  "Do you want to stay here and rest a little more?" I asked, looking at his face.

I nodded and released her hand, moving the arm to hug her around the shoulders. "Thank you..." I murmured softly in her ear.

"You care. That is enough." I said, leaning down to kiss the top of her head as I rubbed her arm gently.

Vivian: I had a permanent blush on my face as I gazed around in wonder at the beautiful lights. Velaric had done this for me, and it made my heart squeeze at the thought.

I felt a little rush of warmth when he kissed the top of my head, it was a sweet, absent minded gesture, but it made me feel good. I wish I could tell him how I felt. I didn't just care about him, I was in love with him. It would be a betrayal to my other self to say it though. We had to feel the same way about him, but that didn't mean she would be inclined to say it, or even feel the need to say it like I did.


Velaric:

I returned with the hot chocolate for the three of them. Hugging Vivian from behind, I held one of the cups in front of her. "For you." I said.

I giggled softly, "Thank you for this...this was....amazing, romantic, sweet...thank you." I said as I took the cup and snuggled back against him.

Sphinx:

I tilted my head a bit, "Something on your mind?" I asked softly my eyes searching her face a bit.

Velaric:

I smiled gently. "I'm pleased that you enjoyed it." I told her, keeping one arm around the front of her shoulders. I glanced toward sphinx and Tabitha. I could tell he wasn't well, it was plane to see in his body posture and face.


I just shook my head and gave a faint smile. "Shouldn't we go back?" I asked. "Or do you want to stay here..?"

I took a sip of my drink, still feeling shy and just warm and gooey inside. Any problems we had been going through earlier today was out of my head. Replaced by romanticism and a girlish crush

Sphinx:

I shook my head, "Let the two of them have their moment. I'm sure for one of them this moment is something special."

 
 
 

"The hug, the hot chocolate, or this place?" I asked softly before taking another sip. Before he could respond |I answered all three. "The hug could be better, the hot chocolate is great but nothing like the real stuff. And this place is wonderful....thank you....."

Sphinx:

I nodded, "Sometimes you have to get the chance to experience a world like this. And holidays make the experience that much better."

 
 
 
 

I took one of the cups, "You were hugging onto someone who could have warmed up the drinks with a single finger. Plus no chance of germs if she uses her gift right. But thank you for this brother." I said as I took a small sip.

 

"I'm fine." I promised him, reading the look in his eyes. "I only got dizzy, nothing else." I said with a bow of my head.

 

Vivian:

I had been watching Velaric while he went to speak with the others. I had been looking over his form, appreciating the lines and body language he had. What I wanted was nearly impossible. I wanted him, a being of death. While I was a being of creation. Not only that I was made of warmth and heat he was not. Our touch could be considered deadly to each other, but I didn't care.

Vivian:

Velaric:

I returned to Vivian and spun her around in a quick move to face the other direction. "We are going on the fairs wheel." I told her, taking her hand to lead her.

I gasped softly when I was spun around. "Ferris Wheel?" I asked with a small blush staining my cheeks. "O-okay?" I looked over my shoulder to the pair on the bench giving them a small wave with my free hand before letting Velaric lead me away.

Velaric:

I pulled her over to the ferris wheel and flipped the that turned it on.  Lights lit up the massive ferris wheel as I flipped the bar that set it to auto.  "After you."  I said, opening the gate for Vivian.

I stepped inside and sat down on the round bench inside. I looked at him shyly, before patting the bench beside me. A ferris wheel all to ourselves...he was testing me I felt. I couldn't tell what he was thinking or what he wanted from all of this.
