hm weird me....hell yes (open)

I nodded, "That sounds about right." I looked over at him, "Almost wish one could test it." A soft chuckle left my lips. "Do you feel strange sometimes Adam? Being free. I get the feeling sometimes that I am really somewhere else. That this is all a dream."

Adam:

"I felt like that before... I felt trapped in my own mind, I knew what I did was wrong, but I was powerless to stop myself. Now... It's different now. Honestly I would rather have stayed at the school then turn into what I did... I don't know." I sighed deeply. "Maybe we still are at the school, maybe this is just an experiment, it feels like something they would do."

"I wouldn't be surprised..." I admitted with a small nod. "The school certainly has the technology for this."

 

"A trap?" I asked though I wasn't expecting an answer to it. I considered for a long moment before nodding. "Perhaps. I'll be on the look out. In the mean time, I am going to check on everyone."

Jemma:

After we finished eating I took Demi into the living to see the other two. She ran to them giggling and snuggled between the two. I grinned, she was exactly what I needed to keep them from getting too handsy.

I had been leaning against Kai but with a small girl running up I had to pull away. I smiled happily at the girl, hugging onto her and blowing little raspberries into her neck and shoulders.

 

I smiled up at Jemma with the silent question asking where the little girl had come from. I couldn't help but glance to Kai for his reaction to the little girl between us.

 

I made a small face and looked away a moment before smiling again and looking at Demi. I never answered his question, instead I reached over go play with her feet, carefully taking off her shoes so she could be comfortable.

Kai:

I squinted at her but let it go without questioning. Demi shrieked with laughter. A glance at Jemma showed that she was grinning, somehow she had recovered all of her color. She seemed to glow now.

I tickled at Demi's sides and feet before leaving down to pepper her face with kisses. I glanced at Jemma then whispered softly in the little girls ear. "Go give Jemma a big kiss."

I gestured to Jemma to bring her attention to the woman. "Her. Go give her a big hug and kiss." I told her softly with a smile.

 

Kat: I stayed on the couch while Kai flew, too exhausted to do more than curl up into a ball under a thick blanket.

Alex:
I finally settled on the porch beside Jemma and Demi, a plate of food in my lap. I had forgone eating to clean up the kitchen, and to prepare a room for Demi to sleep in. The meal was cold, bug I was too hungry to care.

Jemma:

I scooted closer to I could lay my head on his shoulder, I felt like we hadn’t been together much today. Maybe I just hadn’t noticed him… I frowned little.

I gently nuzzles her head a moment before resuming my meal. It was pleasant, this quiet moment. We hadn't had much time together since we got back together, and even today she had been all over the place with Kai and Kat coming back plus Demi.

Jemma:

Demi fell asleep on my shoulder with her little rose bud lips parted slightly. I gave a soft sigh and closed my eyes. “It’s peaceful out here.” I murmured. The two of them grounded me, it made the urge to fly lessen.

"It's a nice night. We should open some windows to let in the fresh air." I admitted softly, turning my head to look at the sleeping girl between us. Shadows slowly wrapped around the girl's body until they faded away to be replaced by a blanket.

Jemma:

I smiled softly, it was sweet that he had even thought to do that. I put my arm around Demi and gently rubbed her back through the blanket. “I thought she was Michael’s child from the future.” I admitted quietly.

I looked down at the girl, a bite of food caught between my lips. I took some time before answering. "I can see what you mean. She does look just like him. But Michael is sterile. The schools fault."

Jemma:

I nodded and said nothing else. My mind was turning. It was a short easy step for me to connect the dots. Demi actually had more of Alex’s coloring that she did Michael’s. But I couldn’t just say that to him…

I focused on my food, mind rather blank as my ears twitched slightly on my head. I felt tired, but I didn't plan on going to bed uite yet. I still had things I wanted to do around the house for everyone.
