"I wouldn't dare harm it or lose it...I know its special to you." I said nodding gently.

Jemma:

“Okay…” I said slowly then smiled slightly. “I’m sorry I overreacted.” I said with a soft sigh.

I shrugged. "I'm used to being yelled at, though not really by someone I care about..." I said shifting from foot to foot.

Jemma:

I dropped my gaze to the ground. “I didn’t yell.” I said stubbornly but I did feel bad.

"I know, Kage says he doesn't either but it just feels the same." I said with a shrug.

Jemma:

“Who is Kage?’ I asked half suspicious half curious.

"My friend, he is my best friend, though he yells at me a lot. And he doesn't like you...or he is more suspicious that you might hurt me." I said with a small shrug.

Jemma:

I blinked taken aback. “He knows me?” I asked confused.

I nodded. "Mmhmm, its hard for him to not." I said with an absent shrug.

Jemma:

I blinked and raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean by that Alex?” I demanded, putting a hand on my hip.

"Well...its hard to explain...he is a part of me. But I can hear him in here." I said tapping the side of my head." I tilted my head, uncertain about how to really explain it.

Jemma:

“You have a voice in your head.” I said dully, my expression going flat.

"Kind of, can I show you?" I asked softly. "I wont let go this time, not ever." I gazed into her eyes hoping to reassure her.

Jemma:

I tensed a little when I under stood what he meant. “If you do, I will hit you. Hard.” I threatened.

I smiled sheepishly and pulled her back into the woods before pausing and glancing at the box. "I'll wait here, go put that away alright?"

(Sorry guys... I talked to ethan and he said something about losing the drive to RP in general. But I think he'll pull out of it after a while and be back with us more.)

Dutch:
"So, what have you been up to the past while Hunter?" I asked as we kept walking after will took off a little while back.

Hunter:
I chuckled, "oh you know me, getting into trouble and getting back out of it."

Jemma:

I nodded and hurried to my room. I set the box on top of my dresser then thought about it for a minute before putting the pictures under my pillow. I went back to Alex.

I waited patiently my eyes closed as I leaned against a tree my arms crossed. I relaxed in the shadows, always feeling more at home in the dark than I did in the light. A bi-product of my powers.

Jemma:

I paused a little before I reached Alex, staying out of the densest part of the shadows. “Alright what is it you want to show me?” I asked, sticking my thumbs in my pockets.

I took her hands in mine pulling her into the shadows without warning. I drew her into my arms, hugging her close before stepping through the shadows to my world. "I won't let go." I whispered in her ear before pulling back a little bit and motioning with my head. To the side of us a vaugly human form was sitting, bouncing a ball off of nothing. "Alex, you know I didn't want to see her." Kage said turning its head to look at us. It was like a human made of fog and shadows, tangible like you could reach out and touch it, but fairly transparent.

Jemma:

I shied close to Alex as I stared at the figure. “That’s the voice in your head?” I said incredulously.

"I have a name you know miss. And before you came along, Alex was a decent fellow, who albeit stubborn about things, was easy enough to take care of. You come along, break the poor kids heart in one swoop and leave me to deal with the pieces. Let me know when your done smashing the pieces and go back to fretting over what you had." Kage said getting to its feet.

Jemma:

I stared at him, lips parted in surprise. Then my temper flared up. “I didn’t break his heart! And I do not fret!” I snapped.

"Really is that so? Are you just with him because he reminds you of Michael? Did you not kiss him? Doing nothing to stop him from kissing you? And then when it was all said in done, did you not push him away? And please, you have been a sad state since he died. Complaining, and whining, and bemoaning your loss." Kage challenged crossing its arms.
